Description
WA is a product with a wide variety of application and typically used in smooth and fine surface preparation.
It is produced by crushing fused alumina into powder form and then sorting the particles into a uniform size.
It has an α-type crystal transformation with high purity alumina Al2O3 composition, at least 99.0%.
The Mohs hardness is next to that of silicon carbide. With highly controlled particle size distribution and consistent particle shape,it is highly recommended to be used for high level surface preparation, precise and final lapping and polishing of materials such as Metals, Quartz Crystal Blanks, Optical Devices and Semiconductor Wafers.
